What ELiD Is All About

Endolysosomal Ion Channels and Diseases (ELiD) is an international symposium dedicated to the emerging biology of intracellular ion channels in endosomes, lysosomes, and related organelles. Since 2024, ELiD has brought together leading scientists from Europe, North America, and Asia to discuss how endolysosomal ion channels shape calcium signaling, membrane trafficking, immunity, infection, neurodegeneration, metabolism, and disease. Following the successful 2024 and 2025 meetings in Taipei, ELiD 2026 will further expand this platform through keynote lectures, distinguished talks, poster presentations, early-career discussions, and an international panel on the future of ion channel research.

ELiD 2026 Highlights

A two-day international symposium in Taipei featuring keynote lectures, distinguished talks, poster presentations, early-career discussions, and a keynote panel on the future of ion channel research.

Global leaders in ion channel biology
Speakers from Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, and Taiwan.

From basic biology to disease mechanisms
Topics include lysosomal signaling, membrane trafficking, immunity, neurodegeneration, infection, and drug discovery.
