Symposium on Endolysosomal Ion Channels and Diseases 2024 Aug 30th - Taipei, Taiwan

This one-day conference Symposium on Endolysosomal Ion Channels and Diseases 2024 underscores the importance of lysosomal cell biology and advanced electrophysiological research in tackling disease threats to human health. Understanding the crucial role of lysosomal ion channels in regulating organelle transport is essential for unraveling disease pathogenesis. Despite increasing international publications on lysosomal ion channels, domestic researchers and students lack access to relevant academic forums, emphasizing the need for symposiums like this to bridge the research gap and enhance domestic standards. The event features keynote speakers, including eminent scholars from the UK and Germany, as well as speakers from the USA, Japan, and domestically. Registration is free and open to all, with students encouraged to submit poster presentations for a chance to deliver a 5-7 minute oral presentation. After uploading your poster abstract, it will be reviewed by the conference organizers. We plan to accept 20 poster presentations.

2024年的「內溶小體離子通道與疾病研討會」將在8/30(五) 08:30-18:00於台大醫學院基礎醫學大樓102講堂舉行。本會議將聚焦於內溶小體之細胞生物學和先進電生理研究在人類健康與疾病中的重要性。了解內溶小體離子通道在調節細胞器運輸中的關鍵作用對於解析疾病發病機制與精準醫療藥物開發至關重要。本屆會要邀請了來自英國和德國院士級學者以及來自美國、日本和國內的知名學者擔任演講嘉賓與主持。報名對所有人免費開放(限量提供國內外院校師生餐券)，鼓勵學生提交海報摘要，將有機會受邀進行5-7分鐘的口頭報告(至多3名)。論文海報摘要投稿，請於8/20 23:59前將海報摘要上傳或寄給陳政彰老師chenchengchang@ntu.edu.tw，將由大會主辦單位審核，預計接受20篇海報發表並擇優給與海報獎金。一般註冊截止日期為8/23 23:59。
